Office Manager

Candee joined The Collaborative Companies in 1998 as Sue Hawkes office assistant. She is now the Office Manager/Human Resource Manager. Her responsibilities include supporting the President/Chief Executive Officer, placing ads in newspapers, magazines, etc. and keeping the media schedules. She also makes travel arrangements, maintains office equipment, and handles communications with employees, site directors,
builders, developers and vendors. Her Human Resource duties include payroll, COBRA, and 401k management, new hires, and maintains data on each employee.

Prior to working at TCC Candee worked at John Scanlon Auto Group in Ft. Myers, Florida as the Personnel Administrator and as their Systems Administrator. As the Personnel Administrator Candee monitored compliance with employment policies and laws, and was the liaison to polygraph, drug testing and insurance vendors. She also did background checks on potential employees and maintained the data base of employees.

She also spent four years with Carlson Real Estate/Better Homes and Gardens in the Marketing Department and Recruiting Department where she developed and executed company-wide marketing programs, including
advertising, direct mail and promotional materials. As the Recruiting Directors Assistant she created brochures and handouts used in presentations and updated recruiting reports for the CEO.
